INGREDIENTS:
- 2 tablespoons freshly squeezed lemon juice
- 1 cup granulated sugar
- 1 pound fresh strawberries
- 3/4 cup of milk.
- ½ cup heavy whipping cream
INSTRUCTIONS:
- Remove the stems and leaves. Then, wash the strawberries in cold water.
- Mix the lemon juice, sugar, and strawberries in a blender machine. Next, blend the ingredients together until the mixture is smooth.
- Pour the milk into the blender and run it until it is smooth.
- Whip the cream properly with a wire whisk until it gets a little thicker and is like buttermilk.
- In a bowl, mix the cream and strawberry mixture well.
- Using a gelato or ice cream maker, pour the liquid in and freeze according to the maker’s instructions.
- Once the gelato is done, place it in a freezer-safe container. Let it freeze for up to 2 to 3 hours before serving.
